Job Description

Process Overview

The Technology Incident Management (TIM) Technology Team develops and maintains technology applications supporting the Enterprise Resiliency (ER) Enterprise Event Response (EER) organization. These applications cover a wide variety of uses including analytics, data collection, workflow automation, and data warehousing. Central to the development process is the need for quality testing to ensure that application changes are stable and meet defined requirements prior to placing them into production. To ensure that this testing is done properly, EIM Technology utilizes a centralized Quality Testing team responsible for verifying changes to EREER applications via the use of a formal testing process and dedicated testing tools. Analysts in the Quality Test team receive requirements in the form of Agile stories, convert these stories into test requirements, and then develop and execute test plans to validate that requirements have been met. Test results are then compiled and presented back to the development staff for review and defect correction.

Job Description

Individual (Senior Software Engineer) would be the full stack developer for this program.

Responsibilities

1. Develop bank internal web applications using latest technologies; 2. Designs and implement software based solutions based on business requirements; 3. Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions; 4. Performs final quality checkstesting of other developers code in the remediation of breakfix items; 5. Evaluates new software development tools to improve development to market for toolset enhancements; 6. Applies systems analysis and design techniques to design, develop, test, implement and debug client specific proprietary computer systems and clientserverWeb applications using standard programmingscripting languages and testing tools, and databases and servers;

7. Works under minimal supervision;

Requirements

Education: B.EB.Tech M.C.AM.Sc

Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory

Experience Range: 2 to 4 years

Mandatory skills

  • 2+ years development experience in a complex application development (client andor server)
  • 2+ years experience in solution engineering
  • Strong .Net C# experience
  • Strong SQL Development Experience (DDL, DML, SSIS)
  • Restful APIs and experience with API driven development
  • UI development languages (HTML, Javascript, CSS etc.)
  • Provides technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor
  • Certifications :Any Agile Certfications
  • Experience working with Agile Methodology
  • Experience working in SAFe Agile Methodology
  • ALM tools like JIRA, Rally
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Review and confirm the appropriate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals are assigned
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Build, develop, and grow any partner relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related Engineering Field

Desired skills

  • Experience with Angular JS
  • Experience with Appian
  • Familiar with BitBucket, TFS or other source code management system
  • Experience working in Agile development process and deep understanding of different phases of the Software development Life Cycle
  • Experience with automated SDLC solutions (CICD)
  • Ability to act as a vocal lead throughout the development cycle including: working directly with business partners; vocal participation in requirements phase; provide thought leadership and input to overcome project based blockers.
