Job Description

Ability to manage Lower Lane Environments (LLE) used by our Dev, QA, UAT, and SIT teams and take complete ownership of environments. Hands on experience with VMWare VRealize suites and a solid understanding of steps necessary to build both Linux and Windows servers. Associate is completely responsible to maintain the LLEs and make sure they are always up and running. Manages deployments and validates the environment using automation and resolves any queries arising from various teams making use of the Bank of America internal cloud LLEs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for health and availability of Lower Lane Environments (LLEs)
  • Maintain full system design documentation for each LLE
  • Works to onboard new teams, products, and processes onto the LLEs
  • Streamline our development operations and processes, standardize environments, as well as build and maintain tools for environment evaluation.
  • Responsible for automation and streamlining of multiple development operations and processes across lower lanes

Requirements

Education: B.E. B.Tech

Certifications if any- NA

Experience Range: 4- 6 years

Mandatory skills

  • Great communication and documentation skills
  • Board knowledge of networking and computing components.
  • Experience in provisioning (building) both Windows and Linux servers
  • Strong background in LinuxUnix

    • Desired skills

    • Experience working with CICD tools
    • A solid understanding network management principles
    • A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl andor Ruby)
    • Experience in automating processes with tools and scripts.
    • Understanding of Agile release process
    • Demonstrated experience managing a complex environment or system.
