Job Description

Role purpose

Act as Price- books specialist on key Voice customer accounts Create and maintain price- books, rate card in machine readable formats Commercial governance around bespoke price- books Manage simple deal pricing works in line with Colt governance policies Create and maintain price- books, rate card in machine readable formats

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes tools to support Rate CardPrice books generation efficient maintenance
  • Ensure all requests are updated delivered as per contracted timescales
  • Act is SPOC for Sales all internal teams on key customer account rate cards
  • Ensure Rate card governance in line with all dynamic elements in Voice business
  • During design phase - support feasibility analysis, impact assessment, detailed documentation and sign- offs before operationalising customer specific price- books
  • Ensuring price updates and communications in line with agreed change management process as per customer contracts
  • Responsible for undertaking simple deal pricing activities
  • Stay up to date on Colt products, markets, competitors, practices especially in Wholesale space
  • Support the implementation of Colt s pricingRate Card strategy
  • Communicate to key internal stakeholders and across functions in support of the Sales process
  • Assess commercial risks for Colt on Rate Cards and ensure governance Provides support to PricingCommercial management team Key performance indicators (financial and non- financial) Accuracy on- time delivery of Price Books Rate- card Response time to Salesstakeholders Quality and presentation of Price Bookscommercial offers Contribution towards Sales bookings Recognition and feedback from stakeholders Relationships and key contacts Portfolio teams product management, pricing Billing, revenue assurance and reporting teams Bid Team Solution Architect, Legal, Bid Manager etc

    Role specific requirements

    Skills Experience

    Excellent MS Excel skills (VBA would be added advantage)

  • Should be able to work on multiple databases to prepare comprehensive and consolidated rate cards
  • A good technical understanding of telecoms technology, Colt products, the competitive environment and where Colt is positioned
  • Ability to present and communicate to sales customers on key accounts
  • Excellent communication presentation skills
  • Demonstrable experience of working across functional disciplines to achieve project success.
  • Ability to explore new and quick ways by automating the process

  • Person specification

    Proficient with numbers and advanced excel Adept at working in a fast moving and multicultural environment

  • Takes initiative to keep skills of up to date and actively contributes to team knowledge sharing
  • Can do attitude, ability to work under pressure and across organisational boundaries in multicultural environment
