Job Description

IntroductionAs an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesYour day in the role will include.

  • Managing initiatives for migration and modernization in Openshift cloud environment.
  • Bringing your expertise to develop applications and moving them to cloud platform.

  • Red Hat Certified Architect
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development (EX 288)
  • Red Hat Certified Enterprise Microservices Developer (EX 283)
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in Camel Development
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in Hybrid Cloud Management (EX 407)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 8+ years as Delivery Architect with proven expertise in application containerization management with Redhat OpenShift.
  • 7+ years Designing & Developing in a SOA / Microservice environment
  • Experience in application development using Java EE, Spring framework integrating with OpenShift.
  • Experience in configuration management, infrastructure, and application deployments in a toolset such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible.
  • Cloud Platforms such as AWS, IBM cloud, Azure and Google Cloud are the preferred ones
  • Expertise in Architect, design, and present multi-product solutions to customers.
  • Experience in security integration using oAuth and LDAP.
  • Expert knowledge in RHEL 7.
  • Experience with containers and Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes
  • Excellent experience working with Git, Jmeter, Selenium, container technology like Docker. Excellent database (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB) skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Creative problem solving skills and superb communication Skill.
  • Telecom domain experience is an added plus
