Job Description

    1. Purchase logistics and vendor development in Automotive Industry
    2. Order Processing and Shipment Management - To ensure smooth order processing procedure to be followed by team after getting MIF from plant, preparing & releasing orders to respective suppliers within stipulated time frame.
    3. Ensure on time delivery of goods as agreed lead times with respective suppliers / product categories, along with on time sailing of shipments to respective locations in accordance with Plant & MarketingTeam.
    4. 100% claim resolution from respective supplier in the form of goods replacement or discount or value adjustment in future orders / Shipments.
    5. To ensure finalising and signing Annual agreements with all suppliers specially related to Pricing, delivery and Quality.
    6. Suppliers payment management.
    7. To ensure PDI reports from all suppliers before dispatch of goods.
    8. Commodity Price tracking, Based on raw material pricing, Continuous discussion with suppliers on price reduction on regular / New Parts
    9. Experience in handling Global suppliers, especially China market
    10. Experience in handling Domestic suppliers
    11. 10. Well versatile with Import procedure, Incoterms, logistics & documentation
    12. Experience in consolidation and merchant trading agreement and procedure
    13. Knowledge in high seas sales and commercial transaction for cross country services
    14. Experience in ERP Sales & distribution
    15. Candidate must have knowledge in AUTOMOTIVE industry
    16. collaborate with other departments
    17. Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
    18. Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
    19. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
    Qualification UG: B.TechPG: Degree in Supply Chain Management,Candidates ProfileDynamic person that can lead and take decisionsExperience in automotive sector at least 5 yearsGood skills of using computer and Microsoft Office programsCommunication and Leadership skills, reliability, responsibility.Previous experience in supply chainExcellent knowledge of supply chain processesStrong communication skillsExcellent organizational and project management skillsCreative problem-solvingA strategic and analytical mind
