Job Description

Individual will be a contributing member of the Global banking Markets (GBAM) Finance team. He/ she will drive productivity accuracy, guide team on various GBAM products, and generate client satisfaction by providing operational excellence for a wide array of financial planning, analysis accounting related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage highly analytical deliverables and work One to One with Senior Business Leaders.
  • Lead and Influence the matrix that supports business strategic direction for the team.
  • Contribute through thought leadership with Subject Matter Expert knowledge
  • Lead and execute project deliverables; oversee team projects and direct group efforts as needed without any overview
  • Work on business decision support with Senior Business Leaders end to end without any overview
  • Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems
  • Co-ordinate with the business to resolve process bottlenecks at different levels
  • Partner closely with stakeholders LOB (as needed) to support reporting routines.
  • Lead month-end close and all other associated management reporting.
  • Manage research, projects, ad-hoc requests and simplification and standardization efforts.
  • Oversee Forecast/Plan and support business reviews strategic direction of the team.

    • Requirements

  • Education:
  • Professionally qualified MBA Finance or Commerce Graduate or BTech or MCA/PGDCA. Preference would be given to candidates who have understanding of financial reporting
  • Experience:
  • Should be ready to work as an Individual Contributor
  • 3-6 years of total experience in reporting, designing, coding and supporting complex database applications
  • Programming experience using SQL, Access database, Query Writing.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analytics using Alteryx Tableau
  • Mandatory Skills:
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment such as lack of well-defined procedures and changing work mix
  • Ability to independently communicate with senior leaders in the business
  • Desired Skills:
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude while focusing on completing tasks or goals
  • A good team player

    • Work Timings Shift Window: Any 9 hours within the shift window starting 7:30AM 10:30PM
