Assistant Vice President Group Treasury

Job Description

You will be responsible for managing the team and taking on elements of the Groups capital, funding and liquidity position, working closely with senior stakeholder. Below are the key responsibilities:

• Manage team, accuracy & completeness of delivery along with timelines
• Support on GFS lead projects for substantial amount of time
• Building up capability and understanding of key liquidity and capital and underlying funding concepts
• Ensuring knowledge is shared with resources via cross training and team learning
• Developing relationships with key members of Group Treasury both in GFS and onshore and business unit teams

The Gurgaon BSM team will be responsible for a range of processes related to the BSM teams activities as well as some ad - hoc projects and analysis. The teams activities are expected to include

• Elements of the Groups Capital management and Funding processes
• Managing and overseeing Group s liquidity position including daily reporting on ratios like NSFR, LCR etc.
• Work on P&L elements of Group like TP charge
• Understanding of underlying concepts of Funded Balance Sheet
• Partnering with wider team on key projects and process improvement initiatives
• Document the processes with a view to retain knowledge and ensure continuity

About you:

You have a Strong customer service ethic, proactively understanding client requirements and maintaining good relationship with the clients and an ability to work in a virtual global team, and manage cross - border relationships effectively.

We want to hear from you if you have:

Outstanding academic background in a financial or quantitative degree e.g. actuarial, economics, engineering, mathematics or accounting.

• 10 - 12 years relevant experience. Experience in Balance Sheet Management or Treasury will be an advantage, in particular any experience related to :
• Strong understanding of Liquidity management concepts and models
• Understanding of capital framework and ratios

• Sound knowledge of the Financial/Banking Services industry, products & Shared Services operating models.
• Good attention to detail.
• Inquisitive and analytical mind - set
• Strong communication skills
• Strong team player
• A high degree of comfort in dealing with information technology
• Very strong MS Office Skills
• Any special expertise on system improvements would be an advantage
