Job Description

    Associate - Portfolio AccountingTimings : 06:30PM to 03:30AM (Flexible US Shift), Mon - Fri, Working from OfficeLocation: Sector-33, GurugramSalary :3 to 6LPAAbout The Role:The Portfolio Accounting Associate is responsible for all aspects of service and reporting forboth proprietary capital (trading desk and internal stakeholders) and external clients (funds and investors). Specifically, this requires the timely and accurate calculation of the Net Asset Value of Digital Asset Funds and Portfolios. The Portfolio Accounting Analyst (or Associate) will communicate directly with traders and operations teams and will report to the Chief FinancialOfficer.What you will do:
    • Maintenance of full fiat and crypto accounting records for the portfolios
    • Responsible for ensuring that trades and transactional activity are properly recorded in
    accounting systems and performing reviews on system-to-system feeds of transactional mactivity
    • Reconcile portfolios cash and investment activity and resolve exceptions
    • Preparation of periodic profit and loss (P&L) reports, portfolio valuation reports, fund
    estimates and other reporting
    • Preparation and/or review of Net Asset Value calculations, including cash and portfolio
    reconciliation, portfolio valuation, calculation of fees and accruals and/or other requiredactions
    • Preparation or review of allocations for capital events, including capital transfers
    between strategies/portfolios and investor subscriptions / redemptions
    • Assisting the CFO in review and oversight of the Fund Administrator
    • Assuring that all fees and expenses chargeable to Funds are calculated accurately and
    paid on timely basis
    • Reviewing the annual reports of the funds and work with auditors on documentary
    requests during the audit processWhat you will bring:
    • Bachelors degree in finance & accounting
    • 3+ years of experience in financial services industry, specifically portfolio accounting,
    fund administration or fund industry
    • Knowledge of accounting, finance, investment portfolio concepts
    • Experience with investment accounting system(s)
    • Advanced data skills in Excel and using API connections.
    • Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve if issues arise.
    • Can multitask / meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining
    accuracy and quality of work
    • Good interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues in other
    divisions / offices, external clients, and fund administrators / auditors.
    • Crypto knowledge is helpful, but not essential. A desire to be a part of the digital asset
    ecosystem is more important.How well support you:
