Job Details: We are looking for an experienced finance professional (Chief Manager/AVP Finance) to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, taxation, auditory & regulatory compliances, and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. The responsibilities will also include financial risk management. This role has a close interaction with the Senior management of the organization as well as Board governance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead a team of finance professionals to independently manage the end to end finance for the organization.Closely interact with the senior leadership & Board of the organization in ensuring complete governance.Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variancesPrepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsCoordinate the preparation of regulatory reportingLead the Statutory audit and Internal audits including Audit of technical accounting issues for complianceManage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue RecognitionSupport month-end and year-end closing processEnsure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Create processes & systems to ensure quality & health control.Manage and comply with all regulatory reporting requirements and tax filingsDevelop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsMEASURES OF SUCCESS:Company profitability & P&L management including new business growthPositive feedback and appreciation from business owners and decision makers/ key stake holdersMINIMUM / SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceCA degree is a Must (with MBA Finance a plus)Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresExperience with creating financial statementso Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close processExcellent accounting software user and administration skillsTeam management skillsKNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES: The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with excellent communication skills and a thoughtful, persuasive personal styleSelf-starters who are comfortable in a project-oriented environment and comfortable in dealing with large cross functional projects.
