Job Description

The channel sales executive would be a role that drives the channel sales funnel for Microsoft s mobile core portfolio and drive channel sales through partners and channels. This function will be responsible for strengthening and broadening the partner and channels eco system to further the reach of our channel sales worldwide.#affirmednetworks#affirmednetworks

  • Drive requirements for individual vertical markets like Industry 4.0, Mining Applications, Warehouse Automation, Smart City Buildouts and Retail Applications.
  • Create fixed cost solutions for channel sales with Systems Integrators and Managed Service Providers
  • Create whitepapers and solutions briefs for complete solutions into private networks
  • Create complete eco system of products for a complete solution for the end customer
  • Negotiate pricing and outcome-based solution for channel (and direct) sales verticals
  • Work with partners to develop sales proposals, quotation and pricing
  • Coordinate with partners to create and execute on business plan to meet channel sales goals
  • Evaluate and manage partner sales performance and optimize, recommend and execute on continuous improvements
  • Manage Channel Sales pipeline with forecast
  • Plan Channel skills enhancement and enablement communicate up-to-date information about new products, product updates and End-of-life information to channels
  • Manage channel related issues, like channel conflict and pricing issues
  • Stay current with latest industry landscape and create channel sales plans to counter and overcome competitive threats
  • Create and deliver customer presentations for channels and attend channel sales meetings and partner conferences

  • 20+ years experience in telecommunications and 10+ years in telecommunications account sales or channel sales
  • Comfortable with senior management interaction with customers, partners and internally within our organization
  • Existing relationships with Mobile Carriers technology, procurement teams and enterprise sales teams a strong plus
  • Existing relationships with large and medium Enterprises in the Automotive, Aeronautical, Manufacturing, Agriculture & Health care industries
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work with multiple functional groups to drive your channel requirements
  • Problem solving approach to think creatively to solve challenges
  • Focused on achieving targets and OKR driven to achieve results
  • Team player with ability to listen, learn and demonstrate the growth mindset
  • Open to 25-35% travel is required (when normal travel guidelines resume)
