Job Description

The role

The Senior 3 rd Level Citrix Administrator position at SoftwareONE Gurgaon, India represents a key role in managing and maintaining the organizations IT services and assets. SoftwareONE anticipates the need to manage hyper-growth for the next several years. The IT infrastructure is considered one of the cornerstone areas for supporting this hyper-growth.

SoftwareONE Business IT focusses on proven ITIL processes. As part of a global IT organization, this senior position is working in the Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement processes area . Responsibilities are such as covering all operational aspects of Datacenter, Branch Office and Cloud Networks; controlling, monitoring, optimizing, troubleshooting and problem solving.

What we need to see from you

Experience Level- 7-10 years

  • Must have experience and knowledge on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Infrastructure Servers & Citrix ADC with load management/balancing, automation and monitoring, problem resolution, improvements, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to provide oversight, guidance, and technical assistance for both internal and external Citrix environments and the organization s applications hosted within the Citrix infrastructure.
  • Identify process improvements in all aspects of systems implementations and workflows, identifying standard procedures.
  • Proactively review scope of improvements on technologies and should take initiatives.
  • Provide regular training and mentorship of the technical peers.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and processes for Citrix Studio, Citrix Director and NetScaler/Citrix ADC.
  • Serve as technical escalation and SME for Citrix issues; supporting both application and operational teams through systems analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting, performance analysis and resolution.
  • Should have knowledge and understanding for Windows Servers 2016/2019, including AD/DNS/DHCP, Networking, Firewall.
  • Good to have knowledge in handling internal and external certificates for Citrix would be an Add-on.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to application teams for Citrix integration improvements.
  • Ensure proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis lead. Involved in the Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
  • Plan and execute Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders. Perform RCA for Major Incident s / Follow quality / security process defined for the engagement.
  • Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents, Prepare Weekly and monthly status reports.
  • Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis. Take corrective actions based on the customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Work on the service improvement programs. Effort estimation/reviews on need basis for new projects. Able to work on Knowledge acquisition and updates to related documents
  • Deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
  • Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software and other applications.
