Job Description

Responsibilities: The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Is the voice of the client within IBM and recognized as the escalation point for all issues with regards to the Managed Apps engagement.
  • Owns, develops and supports growth of the client relationship for Managed Apps.
  • Is the voice of the client within IBM and recognized as the escalation point for all issues with regards to the Managed Apps engagement.
  • Is fully accountable for the Managed Apps client engagement and service delivery, supported by various cross teams roles and functions as needed.
  • Proactively positions our service offerings, upsells within the client via the Cross Sales team.
  • Actively drives the cloud transformation agenda with key client stakeholders to ensure adoption of S/4HANA / Oracle on Cloud and cloud standardization.
  • Drives Customer Success takes accountability for Managed Application service delivering expected outcomes to the business.
  • Drives Digital Transformation Success aligns services to client s transformation strategy and goals.
  • Expected to spend most of the time on sustainable account management (e.g. growing relationship, continued utilization of ISMA portfolio and enlarging managed Apps footprint and limited time on service delivery.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of how to elicit and document client requirements to create client visions and the supporting implementation/integration roadmaps. Cloud ERP Sellers will lead discussions, conduct workshops and working sessions to understand and validate the client requirements and use cases, as well as discovering and articulating compelling reasons to act and ensure our architectural recommendations and specifications are viable.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create comprehensive, tactically and strategically viable business models, specific to the Cloud domain, which meet client functional, non-functional and budgetary requirements during sales cycle.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience w/ selling and closing complex opportunities, both as standalone solutions and as part of broader outsourcing engagements.
  • Position IBM s full suite of cloud services and solutions in compelling business cases to address application and infrastructure optimization solutions, including knowledge of the IBM cloud offerings, cloud orchestration, ERP and migration services.
  • Demonstrate experience with optimization, outsourcing services, applications management, services and data center management and enterprise architectures is preferred.
  • Lead cross discipline teams towards a common vision while operating effectively in a cross-organizational highly matrixed environment.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Knowledge and experience in managed services, IT Optimization, IBM Cloud solutions, understanding of Service Management and Cloud competitive solutions to our IBM cloud products and solutions.
  • At least 3 years experience in working with and closing managed services opportunities as stand-alone or as part of strategic outsourcing
  • At least 3 years experience in ERP applications including SAP and/or Oracle solutions.
  • At least 3 years experience working with C level executives, ability to effectively convey ROIs to deliver key transformational messages and vision
  • At least 3 years experience in cross discipline teams towards a common goal in a matrix environment
  • At least 3 years experience in applying consultative selling and solution approach to client opportunity
  • At least 3 years experience in engaging directly with IT and C-level executives on issues as it relates to the development of a business case
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • At least 3 years experience in managed services, IT Optimization, IBM Cloud solutions, understanding of Service Management and Cloud competitive solutions to our IBM Managed Apps products and solutions.
  • At least 5 years experience in working with and closing managed services opportunities as stand-alone or as part of strategic outsourcing
  • At least 5 years experience in ERP applications including SAP and/or Oracle solutions.
  • At least 5 years experience working with C level executives, ability to effectively convey ROIs to deliver key transformational messages and vision
  • At least 5 years experience in cross discipline teams towards a common goal in a matrix environment
  • At least 5 years experience in applying consultative selling and solution approach to client opportunity
  • Readiness to travel 50% travel annually
