Job Description

A successful candidate in this role is tech savvy, and approaches event technology solutions with proactivity and curiosity. Further, a successful candidate must possess highly effective communication skills and should be able to collaborate and work effectively with internal/external stakeholders.Cvent has a diverse, collaborative, and an open work environment where employees work closely with active members of the markets thriving tech & event communities.What You Will Be Doing:

  • Partner with Project Manager and manage successful execution of VAH projects
  • Collect, define, and document requirements through in-person or virtual meetings with PM
  • Translate the requirements into actionable tasks, and complete/delegate as required
  • Demonstrate expertise of the initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of projects.
  • The ability to follow an agreed process, to analyze situations and apply the appropriate process. Assess and manage impact of changes to project scope, timeline & priority.
  • Analyze the project and task inter-dependencies partnering with PM on an ongoing basis to ensure correct order of execution to minimize risk and cost. Ability to articulate requirements in an understandable format for development, implementation, testing and release.
  • Root cause analysis and reflection to evaluate project success and ensure continuous process improvement for client projects along with PMs.
  • Manage and execute on the pre-recorded sessions
  • Work on multiple concurrent projects
  • Manage and update project related documentation
  • Work on multiple platforms to keep up with Cvent tool
What You Need for this Position:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • Cvent Advanced Certification highly preferred
  • Audio-Visual and Production experience highly recommended
  • At least 3 years of event planning, project management or customer success experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multi-task and to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to ensure event execution success
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Strong business acumen, ethics, and high integrity
  • Excel at developing professional relationships over the phone
  • Strong understanding of the event management experience
  • Able to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Video Conferencing Tools, and Salesforce.com or similar contact management software
