Job Description

Consolidation Specialist

The consolidation specialist will play a key role in ensuring that Keysight worldwide consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP. In this high-profile position, the ideal candidate will work closely with the US Corporate and India finance teams to assist in the consolidation process. This position will also ensure SOX compliance for External Financial Reporting (EFR) and assist in special projects on consolidations eg.- Mergers and acquisitions, entity closures, entity mergers, etc. Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to -

Consolidate multiple legal entities. Ensure compliance with internal accounting and reporting processes. Assist with the preparation of elimination journal entries. Own portions of the intercompany elimination process. Act as a liaison with the company s finance teams. Run and analyze financial reports. Proactively work with the businesses to minimize out of balance conditions. Review Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account reconciliations. Ensure SOX compliance for team and EFR. Assist in integrating new subsidiaries into the close process. Review cross-validation rules and financial system controls. Work with external auditors on consolidated accounting information. Support finance team and business units with ad-hoc analysis as needed. Create new processes as necessary to help ensure departmental efficiency. Determines and develops approaches to complex finance organization assignments. Leads finance organization-related projects using indepth experience to influence results. Solves complex problems using indepth experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent. Typically 6-7 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
  • Requires extensive experience and knowledge in job and ability to work independently.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP.
  • Experience with foreign currency translations (ASC 830/ FAS 52) a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from a wide variety of cultures, using strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and analytical skills.
  • Oracle, OneStream, MicroStrategy experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Personal characteristics of professionalism, commitment to high standards, and a strong commitment to a team approach.
