Data Analytics Manager SAS

Job Description

• Effective Collaboration with Infra, DEV, Ops teams and other interfacing teams
• Mentor and assist other team members to enhance their technical and functional skills
• Be responsive to the customer requirements - zero escalation from stakeholders
• Exhibit SME level knowledge for the domain
• All external portal/code releases analyzed for security vulnerabilities and remediated to SLA
• 100% SLA compliance for the requests/incident tickets and 100% Service availability to the business users
• Responsible for sharing the project health information like weekly/monthly status reports, key matrices and any other higher management needed information about the project
• Application Production support, Maintenance activities, NEW/ADHOC/enhancement development activities like some requirements gathering from BA or directly from customers, and a whole lot of data analysis and working with health care data from a variety of different sources
• Analyze and visualize data on a project basis to enhance operational efficiency for a global healthcare company
• Lead and perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment
• Identify and implement automation or process improvements within the application
• Work with all constituents throughout the implementation process from initial engagement to delivery of application solutions
• Work with developers to translate requirements in to functional and technical design documents and follow established Waterfall/Agile SDLC processes for testing and implementation
• Conduct analysis to ensure quality of data at various stages of its evolution
• Translate data into meaningful information
• Perform proof of concept analyses
• Investigate and respond to routine or standard requests
• Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
• Complete projects that require data mining, analysis, and presentation
• Proactively identify the root cause of the production failures and resolution steps
• 100% Compliance to all mandatory training including development plans
• Creation of KEDB articles and Knowledge sharing
• Adoption of Open Source Software/Cloud adoption by reduce the Infra cost
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them

Required Qualifications:

• PG degree or relevant equivalent experience
• 8-12 years of data analysis and data analytics experience
• Minimum 8-10 years of working knowledge and experience on SAS platform and handling/leading SAS projects
• Experience in supporting and managing simple/medium/complex /high volume environments and ability to design and develop of application using Base SAS, SAS Macros and SAS Statistical procedures, ability to contribute to platform modernization and automation efforts
• Experienced in using SAS functions, statements, dataset options and system options
• Experienced in using the SAS procedures like PROC IMPORT, Proc EXPORT, Proc MEANS, Proc FREQ, PROC SUMMARY, PROC PRINTO, PROC TABULATE and PROC REPORT
• Good exposure on SAS knowledge for various SAS environments like PC SAS, UNIX
• Good exposure on UNIX commands and shells scripting
• Exposure to working in DevOps model and implementation of CI/CD processes
• Good working knowledge of Base SAS and Advanced Programming like Proc SQL, SAS Macros
• Good working knowledge on SAS/ACCESS, SAS/CONNECT, SAS/GRAPHS etc.
• SAS administrator knowledge for SAS UNIX Server maintenance activities
• Efficient in using Utility, Statistical and Report-writing Procedures in SAS
• Efficient SAS data manipulation and management skills
• Proficiency in end to end analytics
• Good understanding and usage of the tools like TWS, GITHUB, WS_FTP, Reflections etc.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent Visual design sense regarding clear and accurate presentation of data
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills in order to meet multiple deadlines; comfortable working in a high-paced/high production area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the health care industry
• People manager experience
• Basic and Advanced knowledge on Java skill set (to support the NQ Self Service application)
• Good Statistics knowledge background
