Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Data Architect with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade platforms. Hands-on experience of platform/ product development is a must. The ideal candidate must be a problem solver and should have an expertise in Big Data technologies, AWS/ Azure stack, Hadoop cluster optimization. Ideal candidate must have hands on experience in efficient data loading, storing, cleaning and processing experience. Candidate must be familiar with variety of technologies and have a good understanding of their relative strengths and shortcomings. Roles ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-volume, low-latency platforms/ applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance. Guide teams to write better code. Ensure designs follow specifications. Review code and help in pushing the team in optimized way of development. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Required Skills and ExperienceKey Technical Skills: B Tech/ M Tech/ MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. 10+ years of hands on application development experience. Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns. Strong database concepts. Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL technologies. Strong understanding of at least one development language like Java, Python, C#/ C++ etc. Experience is integration interfaces using web services. Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web frameworks. Experience with test-driven development. Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, and BRMS tool like Drools is a plus. Key Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills. Detail oriented. Decision making and problem solving.
