Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a Data Engineer with Modeling experience for our customer. This is a hands-on role supporting the Finance team thru their ETL transformation, will have the following skills and job duties.
  • Good technical expertise in understanding SQL Query Experience with Hive, HiveQL, SQL Query, ETL background & Python
  • Experience in documenting data definitions (metrics and dimensions) in a business-friendly language and also provide logical data models Good at conducting testing (unit and uat) as we change data pipelines
  • Should be able to build new data pipeline (ETL) with apache pipeline
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Dimensional data modeling of data warehouse Very good SQL background (Arrays, Joins, Pivots, Regular expressions and so on) - Someone who can work with limited direction Need responses to the following questions Nice to have Hive Sql Exp Experience with HiveQL or Hive Query Language Which projects Experience with Python if any Any HiveQL integration with Python exp What is your experience with Dimensional Modeling Any exposure to Snowflake EDW Any exposure to Airflow Any exposure to YAML framework
  • How much is your experience with SQL Query
  • Some exposure to python etc
  • What is your exposure to ETL How complex were the queries Walk me thru the details on Arrays, Joins, Pivots, Regular expressions you have created
