The Location: Gurgaon
The Role: Data Scientist III
The Team: The Data Scientist will be a part of the Market Intelligence (MI) Data Science team of SP Global. The groups mission is to use advanced data analysis techniques to create value across MI. Additionally, the group will partner with different other Advanced Analytics, BI and Data Science teams to help evolve our analytics culture in effort to become a Center of Excellence for the firm.
The Impact: The role will have a significant impact on the success our company helping transform SP Global into a user and enabler of advanced data science and AI. It has a direct bearing on the advance of the S P brand as a Fintech Company

Responsibilities: 1. Works independently or with a small team to solve complex problems and create scalable models/algorithms. 2. Works directly with product managers senior leadership to translate their vision into workable algorithms 3. Will focus on creating output that is simple and easy for business users to understand and implement 4. Will communicate progress of projects from time to time to various stakeholders 5. Participates in industry forums to showcase the analytical depth of the organization
What We re Looking for:
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor s degree in engineering.
2. Up to 7 years of experience in Data Science
3. Prior experience in building and rolling out machine learning models, optimization, forecasting, etc
4. Strong understanding of statistical modeling and its application to solving business problems
5. Hands-on experience with Python/R for building models big data technologies, tensor flow and other Machine learning platforms. Expertise in management of large data
6. Ability to collaborate with various teams to learn from their experience and apply the learning s to the problems at hand
7. Great communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate data, context, and implications to business stakeholders and senior leaders
With new data science projects coming up, we will need an additional data scientis
Preferred Qualifications: A masters, PGD or doctorate in a related field will be preferred
