Job Description

    Step No. Location Position Job Title Process New Designation New Band # of Positions Gurgaon Deputy Project Manager TPMO Deputy Project Manager B3 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES The Deputy Project Manager is responsible for the overall lifecycle of a project from initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling and closing. He/She must be familiar with system scope and project objectives. Application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements. As well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. He/She should be able to establish a strong project governance, manager stakeholders effectively and achieve the project objective & planned outcome. Manage execution of the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals Independently manage or Support Project Managers on projects Assist the Project Manager (if supporting) with the day to day project responsibilities, else manage them at their end Update artifacts as per the methodology and agreed documentation Update Project schedule as required Develop Status reports and other deliverables as required Create & maintain project risk tracker and identify mitigations along with seeking updates from relevant parties. Facilitate meetings & additionally document the discussion points and circulate to confirm the understanding of the attendees Schedule meetings and coordinate meeting logistics, materials, agendas, etc., as needed Create and maintain the project s communication plan Ensure meetings are scheduled as stated in the plan. Maintain distribution lists, SharePoint Site, PTO calendar and other project coordination artifacts too CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED Open to working in any shifts, dependent on the project requirements Demonstrate Medium level knowledge of Project Management process and tools Ability to quickly build, manage and sustain relationships virtually and across international geographies; cross culturally competent (would be preferred) Prior experience of client/customer handling skills or experience of working on client projects directly /indirectly Strong communication skills with no grammatical errors Ability to create presentations and write business cases with supervision under a more senior project or program manager Ability to work under tight deadlines managing a few priorities Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of work situations Ability to get work done from virtual team members and stakeholders without undue escalation Proficiency with Google applications (Sheets, slides, docs, hangout etc. would be preferred) Ability to work with leaders on projects and influence through logic basis business impact PMP/ PRINCE 2/ Scrum/ITIL/ CAPM Certification (mandatory) WORK ENVIRONMENT May require to occassionally put in long hours to meet critical business deadlines Frequent demands of prompt turnaround and high quality results at short notice from senior leadership/ client Work may have spikes and troughs. There may be lean times and other times may be hectic. The candidate should be able to manage work accordingly The role may require working with APAC/ EMEA/ AMS timings to participate in conference calls and meetings. The candidate should be flexible to manage shift hours accordingly CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION Employee should be a confirmed full-time employee of the organization Employee should not have been on PCCP (behavioral or performance) for the second time in the current role, in the last quarter or the current quarter Employee should be rated Achieving/Highly Valued Contributor(HVC) in the last performance cycle Employees returning from an oversees assignment will not be eligible to apply for an IPP/IJP outside of his/her domain/unit/team/ for a period of 6 months post returning. 12 months in the current role for Lateral movement (Level B3) Vertical movement Open All communication will be sent on the email id mentioned in the form.
