Join our team as a Senior Visual Designers who is up for the challenge to lead and transform the IBM experience across all of our products.Your day in the role will include.Manage existing Design Studios and set up new ones -

• Client delivery, Client Pitch delivery, client satisfaction
• Advisor to clients
• Help clients cultivate their own Design Practices

Influenced Signings and Revenue Growth new logos -

• Engage, cultivate and enable the right talent mix and levels

Lead the capacity required optimally

• Plan ahead and vision the future talent needs and grow them
• Social, External and Internal Personal Eminence and Eminence of the Design Practice

Steer IBM Internal transformations leading with Design -

• Institutionalize methods and tools adoption for customer satisfaction with premier output

Global collaboration with other studios and regions -

• Partnerships with Academic Institutions and other eco system constituents
• Operations management of the practice to meet metrics for business w.r.t utilization, process adherence, optimize spends

Mentoring of second line leadership and top talent -

• Identify new expansion opportunities and new trends for adoption enthusiastically

You will come with.

• Creating branding projects from the ground up, develop campaigns, lead a team of designers, provide quality art and creative direction, and design apps, websites, and onsite digital experiences.
• One of the key aspects of your role is a thorough understanding of the right balance between business, design and our customers and serving our brands purpose, business missions and customer needs.
• Youll work in a focused team collaborating with fellow design leads, content designers, interaction designers, visual and motion designers, qualitative researchers, data scientists, and producers. Bouncing ideas around, formulating plans, and charting the path forward is your jam as much as any solo design time.
• Youre fluent at communicating with product managers and developers as well as influencing the IBM Studios across locations to simplify, integrate, and co-create successful customer experiences that work together.
• And youre comfortable influencing others around how we all want the same thing, what that thing is, and why you think the team has landed a solution that will make IBM create suite of business apps that customers will love

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ Years of experience in Visual Design - professional experience in designing brand identities, grid systems, editorial layouts and applications for web, desktop and mobile.
• 7+ years of combined product design, enterprise UX, or relevant agency-side experience would be preferred
• Ability to refine other peoples ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience.
• Need to have experience collaborating with other user experience roles such as UX Designers, writers and creative leads.
• You have a general understanding of front-end development and implementation
• You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate design decisions
• You are proficient in current design tools (e.g., Sketch, Abstract, InVision, Adobe creative suite) and use them to communicate ideas with your team and test with users
• Expert level skills in Photoshop, InvisionApp, UXPin and other relevant design tools.
• Understand Agile Workflow
