About the Role We are looking forward to hiring a senior member in our category team who will help us to drive growth and will lead new initiatives for the Category team. This role will have a direct impact on the long - term success of the platform. Roles & Responsibilities: P&L Management: Drive sales and margin for the Category (Top Line and bottom Line) Responsible for Pricing , Promotion for the category Category Insights: Responsible for Demand Generation for the category on the App Plan Short and Long - term roadmap for the category in consultation with key Stakeholders Data analysis and mining - conducting market research and working closely with consumer insights and Data Science team to analyse available customer data on the platform to identify and drive key opportunities Category Marketing: Lead the sales strategy for the category on the platform Work closely with the marketing team to ensure visibility for the category / brands Work with consumer product team to drive category penetration through consumer profiling and targeting Desired Skills & abilities: Minimum 10 Years experience in leading FMCG / Retail Companies with strong leadership skills. A hustler and a leader with great attention to detail. A keen sense of ownership , speedy execution and resourcefulness. Passion for data , metrics , quantitative / qualitative analysis and ability to turn analysis into actionable marketing plans. Ability to develop strategies and measurable implications with strong analytical skills. Prior experience of managing and developing people skills is a must. Prior experience of working with internet companies will be a plus,
