Job Description

Located in Gurgaon, India, this role is within the Disbursements team, responsible for disbursement of Global vendor payments, Payment rejection handling, Invalid transactions in payment portal research & resolution, Payment related query resolution, Report production and Account reconciliations. He or she will report into the Procure to Pay Finance Manager within the Global Shared Services organization.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Disbursements

  • Disburse global payments on a daily/weekly basis in Trax and Bank portals
  • Action Bulk payment uploads in payment / bank portals
  • Process Corporate card payments
  • Manage cashflow by holding payments
  • Monitor / Research payment rejections, taking corrective action as applicable
  • Process FX payments
  • Perform Disbursements data analysis and provide reports to various stakeholders
  • Perform accounting activities in NetSuite
  • Provide Audit Support
  • Manage queries from vendors and internal customers within SLA timelines
  • Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with internal / external customers at all levels.
Reconciliation/Month-end
  • Reconcile AP accounts in NetSuite
  • Prepare reconciliation files in Blackline
Ad-hoc Projects
  • Support system change/enhancement implementation including UAT, communication and training
  • Active involvement in identifying and developing new processes / process enhancements and performance monitoring tools
Qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
  • 3 years of progressive experience in a shared services environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high volume environment
  • Logical mind with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and become the subject matter expert for areas of responsibility globally
  • Willing to work in shifts
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication & presentation skills to interact effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Comfortable operating in a highly flexible, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
