We at Express Stores are looking for a talented and driven Engineering Manager to join us and share our vision to empower millions of Kirana stores in India with more business and to empower millions of customers to find right products in a location nearest to their home with the best quality products, at affordable prices.If you want to be a part of the super energetic and young hustlers along with great learning and growth, then Express Stores is an excellent and exciting career choice for you!What youll do day to day:- As an engineering manager, youll be working with some of the industrys brightest minds to convert product requirements into tech. architecture, setup code standardization and run code reviews, manage sprints and deployment. - Provide hands-on technical management, guidance, and support including system/design/code review, and ultimately be responsible for the health of the systems your team builds.- Plan sprints and navigate team through contingencies and successfully complete the sprint- Manage a team of 2-4 developers and convert product requirements into tech architecture.- You will develop a team culture of ownership that reinforces the core values of Express stores.What we look for:- Preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering- Must possess 5 - 8 years of work experience. - 1 -3 years of experience with a Start up (preferred).- Strong understanding of B2B product development cycle.- Hands on in Python/Django and Server Management (AWS/GCP/Azure).- Experience in Agile methodologies like scrum.- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.- Knowledge of industry best practices for building large scale and highly reliable applications.- Strong analytical skills and a sense of ownership.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to balance business needs, a sense of urgency, and shipping high quality and pragmatic solutionsWhats in it for you - Dedicated and experience management team- Competitive base salary- Team oriented, people oriented, fast paced fun environment About Express Stores:Express Stores is an omnichannel startup (online and offline) by IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani grads.
