Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Design and produce signage, brochures, and a variety of other graphic products for projects, solicitations, and presentations
  • Use digital illustration, photo-editing software, and layout software to create designs
  • Create visual elements such as original images, and illustrations that help deliver a desired message
  • Design layouts and select colors, images to use
  • Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
  • Implement and champion brand standards in print and digital mediums.
  • Develop professional visual design materials to communicate and educate clients and the community about HKS brand pillars.
  • Contributes to a team environment that promotes continual creative improvement and a culture of innovation and accountability
  • Upholds quality brand standards of all creative deliverables
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing Communications team
  • Estimates timelines and meets deadlines on assigned projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain files in standard formats and filing structure.
  • Stays current on trends and developments in digital and print design
  • Ability to work overtime with little advance notice

Requirements to succeed

  • Bachelors degree / Advertising or design degree preferred
  • Portfolio of current work
  • 5 years minimum experience in advertising/design agency environment
  • Strategic and independent thinker
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
