Job Description

Are you an accounting wizard who has the knowledge and the experience to handle finance and auditing with equal ease. Then here is the right role for you. Our client is an online platform for legal information and advise. The users can post anonymous questions, and receive legal advice from expert lawyers; also they can book consultations with the lawyer that suits their requirement for a minimal fee. The founders are IIT and Kellogg Alumni. Although from a tech background, the founders understood exactly what trouble Indians go through to resolve their legal queries and issues. Started out in 2015, their team helps people across property issues, medical negligence, divorce, child custody, immigration, cheque bounce cases, consumer cases, legal drafting, intellectual property disputes, fund raising for startups, amongst others. As the Head - Finance & Accounts , you will gain insights into company services and work towards the projected growthethically, timely and economically in consultation with the Co- Founders. What you will do:

  • Driving the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
  • Being responsible for building strong accounting processes/ systems proper recording for revenues and expenses of the company as per relevant accounting standards in compliance with the law
  • Working closely with Auditors, Tax & PF Consultants, ensuring all the financials and compliances are properly updated and upto date.
  • Working Closely with Company Secretary and Legal Consultants to ensure Legal & Secretarial Compliances of the Company
  • Developing the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors
  • Managing the team and brainstorming future growth ideas

  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability and excellent organizational skills.
  • Should have prior experience of working on Accounting Tools such as Tally, Quickbooks etc
  • Experience with MNC/ Startup in Finance & Accounts department preferred
