Job Description

Ensuring that strategies, projections, capacity plans and Champion-Challengers within the Managers responsibilities are aligned to fulfil the strategic goals of the Collections function and the yearly planned budget. Proposing innovations in Collection Activities and monitoring KPIs and metrics related to Collection results as to propose the most optimal course of action to help attain the best Profits to Loss ratio result for Collections. Key Responsibilities: 1. Oversight of the Collections strategy structure and of all strategic pilots and champion-challengers assigned by Strategy & Modelling Senior Manager. a. Proposing and supporting the design of strategy and pilot monitoring reports b. Proposing and supporting the management of phasing from pilot to final solutions 2. Close cooperation with other Departments within Collections to ensure understanding and fulfilment of business needs for the whole function. 3. Market research and investigation of cross-department opportunities to propose innovations in strategy to improve collections results. 4. Cost to benefit impact estimations of potential new strategies and model implementations - building business cases for strategy changes assigned by Strategy & Modelling Senior Manager. a. Feasibility analysis preparation for Strategy change or implementation 5. Designing and proposing optimizations and improvements within portfolio of projects, evaluations and strategies assigned by Strategy & Modelling Senior Manager. a. Optimization of assigned strategy processes to improve P&L Results. b. Proposing new KPIs and indicators better allowing to estimate the true benefits and costs of assigned strategies from a company perspective. c. Helping to design and implement various Predictive Models, Champion-Challengers, Decision-tree segmentations and other data driven methods as a basis for new strategy branches. 6. Proposing and designing Customer, Contract and other types of segmentations allowing for better adapted workflows with higher ROI and more relevant monitoring. 7. Testing and confirming/ disproving business-relevant hypothesis in the field of Collections raised internally or by a related department or function 8. Helping to transform business ideas and results of workshops and brainstorming sessions about collections strategy into concrete business proposals if relevant. 9. Designing and maintaining all forecasting and budget estimation related analysis for the Collections Function. 10. Taking the role of Subject Matter Expert in strategy change discussions, pilot evaluations, budgeting and decision-making from a Strategy perspective when assigned by Strategy & Modelling Senior Manager. 11. Management and supervision of potential assigned Strategy Analysts. 12. Development of team members and other entities within the Department from a Strategy perspective. 13. Ensuring business continuity and decision making capability in case of absence/ unavailability of line manager. Desired Profile: Minimum 6-8 yrs of relevant experience into similar strategic and analytical role Should be from Statistics/ Maths background Strong analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving The ability to design the structure and outcomes of robust models (Excel) In depths knowledge of financial/ insurance products,
