Job Description

What will you do:
  • Develop and execute executive communications for Stryker India s leaders and senior functional executive team as needed.
  • Coordinate with other regional/global communications teams to manage a variety of Stryker s communications topics for internal/external audiences.
  • Facilitate adoption within India of the company s digital communications platform strategies in close collaboration with the Business Units, Information Technology (IT) organization, focusing on driving connectedness and innovation communications channels.
  • Be part of a global network of communicators across the company in order to drive alignment and collaboration in the areas of communications, branding, and crisis and issues management.
  • Partner with the Comms team to manage the company brand, ensuring it is aligned with the Company strategy, and that all internal and external materials are consistent with the Stryker brand standards.
  • Develop and liaise with regional team to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.
  • Manage and implement communications to support critical change initiatives within the company.
  • Support the development and execution of the EVP to external stakeholders in areas such as education, professional institutions and graduate associations
  • Support the work of Talent Acquisition team building brand awareness with agencies and universities
  • Manage the content development and delivery of internal communications platforms and vehicles within India (e.g., newsletters, magazines, videos and town hall meetings).
  • Educate internal stakeholders about the communication methods, principles and strategies that are critical to successful change to improve the competence and knowledge transfer to the organization.
  • Support the development of a global intranet and extranet web activities in alignment with industry best practices.
  • Develop, plan and adhere to budget for internal communications programs, initiatives and operations.
  • Establish key performance indicators to manage, track, and report on communications effectiveness.
What You Need:
  • Minimum Graduation degree, preferably in communications, organizational communications, change communication or employee engagement.
  • 7 - 10 years prior professional experience in developing and implementing communications programs including at least three to five years in Country communications
  • Experience in the healthcare/medical technology sector, and with a marketing and/or brand driven company.
  • Experience dealing with complex and sensitive issues globalization, sustainability, multi - stakeholder partnerships, community programs, compliance, and crisis management.
  • Able to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of working within a global organization and the impact a corporate communications strategy can have on the business.
  • Travel Requirement - Approximately 10 - 15% overseas to Stryker locations within and outside of Asia - Pacific.
