Job Description

The individual should possess strong programming, technical and problem solving skills. Should be capable of proactively working on a project and be able to supervise and mentor team members. The successful candidate should be passionate about programing and design techniques (preferably in Telecom domain). Prior experience of working on Mediation systems will be an added advantage.The individual should be familiar of following development processes:Software Development Process.Change management Process.Configuration Management Process.Knowledge of Performance Management solution for wireless networks

  • Strong knowledge of LINUX/UNIX & shellscripting.
  • Solid Knowledge in databases (SQL and administration), preferably Oracle.
  • Strong logical and problem solving skills.
The individual must be capable of performing and receiving software walkthrough s to educate and encourage the team into building high quality software.The individual must strive to create a highly cohesive and modular solution that ultimately lowers the cost of adding new functionality to it.The individual must be aware of the current milestones and deliverables.The individual must be responsible for monitoring progress of the project, and be able to deliver it on time. He should also be able to identify and manage risks associated with the timely delivery of the project.Required Candidate profileCapabilities:1. Capable of understanding technical specifications and requirements and converting them to a good and stable design.2. Excellent knowledge of UNIX platforms, Shell Scripting, Debugging/profiling technics and tools.3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills4. Capable of multitasking and handling load under pressure5. Possess strong SQL skills preferably using Oracle.6. Should have basic understanding of SNMP protocol and MIBs.7. Should have knowledge of third party XML library integration to read XML syntaxes.8. Strong knowledge of Design Patterns and UML.9. Must be able to use new technologies to deliver high quality and optimized product.10. Experience in Delivery group and/or Telecom knowledge advantage11. Presentation/training experience skills advantage12. Proactive ,creative, fits into dynamic environments ,
