Used by lenders, agent banks, custodians, trustees, borrowers and legal professionals, IHS Markit Loan Settlement automates loan trade affirmation, confirmation and matching to facilitate the processing of loan trades. One of the IHS Markit Loan Settlement platforms, ClearPar, is the market leader in trade settlement. The newer IHS Markit Clear platform reduces settlement delays through access to real-time agent bank data from trading counterparties and integration with client systems.Position summaryImplementation specialist/analyst responsible for working closely across implementation, product, QA and development teams on projects to integrate customer trading systems and workflows with the IHS Markit loan settlement ecosystem.The ideal candidate will be a proven multitasker with strong analytical and communication skills and will have experience in executing customer facing engagements.Duties & accountabilitiesExecute an implementation plan that is standard or has been customized to fit a customer s needs.Engage with the customer business, operations, technology and QA teams to understand scope/challenges and communicate in a timely manner to the internal (IHS Markit) teams.Be aware of customer expectations and deliver accordingly.Execute implementation plans for multiple customers in parallel.Own the maintenance of customer test beds across multiple environments.
• Partner with clients on implementation testing needs, requirements, and questions
Maintain detailed documentation on each customer s progress.Maintain detailed issue lists for each customer engagement, prioritize based on criticality for the customer, communicate with product team internally and manage customer expectations with regards to resolution timelines.Identify the customers testing needs with regards to testing infrastructure and test data.Regularly update the implementation handbooks for new product features.Create and maintain test data as needed for each customer engagement.Have a good understanding of product strategy at all times and the potential impacts to each customer engagement.Maintain a proactive, energized relationship with the customer to ensure a positive overall experienceIdentify client s needs that may translate to potential product enhancements. Communicate the same internally in a timely manner.Conduct walkthroughs and demonstrations, as needed during the implementation cycle, for different teams within the customer organization to clarify understanding of product features, workflow or other aspects of the integration.Participate in product testing and support cycles as neededEstablish an in-depth understanding of the product and the various parts that constitute the IHS Markit loan franchise.Assist other team members with client engagements when appropriateBusiness competenciesEducation and experienceBachelor s degree required, advanced degree in Business or Technology preferredThorough understanding of the software development life cycleAnalytical and well organizedCareful attention to detailProven ability to work independentlyProven multitasker.
