Job Description

  • Role :Cloud Operations Engineer
  • Role Description :Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents / requests.

  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : Central Communication point for Major Incidents. Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the incident management process and Major incident management processes. Respond to user/client escalations and engage functional escalation and Management escalation as required. Participate in Incident/Change/Problem management meetings, drive & initiate SRT bridges. Drive metrics for backlog, reopen tickets & ageing tickets
      • Technical Experience : Identify process improvements driving Service management best-practice and process standardization Ensure support teams are aware of current incident process and adhere to it Monitor SLAs of Incident management function and producing management information, including KPIs and reports Good on report preparation and handled daily, weekly, monthly SM reports
      • Professional Attributes : University degree in IT Discipline or any other discipline ITIL V3 Foundation certification Knowledge of the processes like incident, problem, change, event management
