Job Description

Job Description:As a member of the DuPont IT End User Experience team, the Interaction Designer is responsible for concept descriptions, site structures and wireframes, as well as descriptions of the desired behavior of the system. Communication skills are extremely important, because none of the interaction designers deliverables can be isolated in the final delivery of the project. The role typically facilitates and communicates as much as it produces; this is especially prevalent in agile projects.The role of the Interaction Designer will be shaping digital things for peoples use. It is concerned more with how things behave than it is with how they look. The design effort spans time and distance, focusing as much on sequence and flow as it does on form and layout.This role will be based in Gurgaon, India, with minimal travel.The role of the IT End User Experience Interaction Designer includes the following deliverables:

  • Concept descriptions
  • Site structures and wireframes
  • Descriptions of the desired behavior of the system
  • Collaboration with visual design teams to develop solutions.
, Job Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to:
  • focus on ideation and concept development
  • seeking to solve the underlying problem and potentially take on the responsibility of solution development
  • network effectively across all levels of the organization
  • multi-task and set appropriate priorities
Additional Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in Interaction Design with a focus on interactive ideation and concept development in content-heavy industries
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing good solutions on a variety of project types
  • Bachelor s degree from a design institution with a focus on interaction design, human-computer interaction, product design or industrial design. Backgrounds in cognitive psychology, ergonomics and architecture could along with experience in Interaction Design roles can also be considered for this role.
  • Flexibility to travel globally up to 10% when projects and go-lives demand location-based efforts
