With a passion for working in asset management, you ll be a part of the Macquarie Investment Management operations team where you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of the internal control environment and the efficiency of the group.
You ll be responsible assisting in the daily valuation of securities, performing valuation validation controls and ensuring strict adherence to Macquarie Asset Management s Pricing Policy. You ll also be performing the static creation, maintenance and enrichment process in accounting and trading systems on an ongoing basis, as well as being responsible for data quality controls on all security asset types, issuers and sectors. You ll also be assisting in the maintenance and review of benchmark levels used for portfolio performance reporting purposes.
To be successful in this role, you ll have a tertiary qualification in any business related area and post-qualification experience of 1-2 years for Associate or 2-4 years for Senior Associate within a financial institution, preferably working in a Reference Data or Pricing team for a global custodian or an asset manager. Proficiency with MS Office skills including advanced Excel, MS Access and MS Word is required.
You ll demonstrate a deep knowledge of security master information for all asset classes, public and derivatives and sector classification. Experience with systems such as Aladdin, Simcorp Dimension, Markit, Thinkfolio, Bloomberg, EaglePace, PEGA as well as knowledge of financial markets and portfolio accounting would be preferred but not essential.
You will need to be flexible in your working hours and be willing to work any shifts between 6:30am to 12am IST.
