About the opportunityDepartment DescriptionThe Technology function provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, investment, compliance, finance, legal, marketing and customer service functions. The broader organisation incorporates Infrastructure services that the firm relies on to operate on a day to day basis including data centre, networks, proximity services, security, voice, incident management and remediation. The Central team comprises systems development and support specialists that provide support to departments such as HR Services, Finance, Corporate Services, Legal and Compliance, Risk and Technology across various geographic locations. The services include Production Support of in-house developed application and vendor provided products, small scale enhancements and product.Job DescriptionThe Business Analyst plays a key role in delivering technology solutions throughout the project. This position is for an experienced Lead Business Analyst in the HR Portfolio of Central Technology team and will primarily be responsible for liaising with the Senior HR Business Stakeholders to define the requirements. This will involve understanding the existing HR Systems and analysing the further scope of requirements/work in HR space. Mainly the role would require:

  • Understand various HR Application like Workday, Data Strategy platform
  • Also liaise with other HR stakeholders to discuss issues in HR process and come up with a solution approach to resolve the issues
Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising directly with HR Senior Business Stakeholders to define a mutually agreed set of project requirements and solutions.
  • Understand the existing HR Applications like Workday, Data Strategy Platform and work on the further Business Requirements to enhance the Application
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in working on integrations or API s
  • Good domain understanding of integrations and API s
  • Work collaboratively with solution architects, UX designers, product owners and the delivery teams in order to ensure that solutions address the requirements of the business.
  • Communicate in an efficient and concise fashion with stakeholders.
  • Required to effectively influence and assist key stakeholders displaying a high degree of emotional intelligence as well as having strong facilitation skills to help take initiatives forward
  • Prepare professional documentation in order to capture user stories, acceptance criteria and context information
  • Ability to interpret complex business issues and understand the associated technical implications.
  • Understand core strategic business goals and will help shape large, high risk and complex initiatives.
  • Conduct or actively participate in Triage calls and Root cause analysis meetings
  • Be an effective team player and share the knowledge within the team
Experience and QualificationsTechnical SkillsEssential Skills:
  • B.E./B.Tech/MBA/M.C.A/Any other Bachelor s Degree.
  • At least 8-10 years of Total IT Experience.
  • Strong Knowledge and Experience of HR Domain
  • Good domain understanding of HR systems
  • Good understanding of Workday
  • Readiness to deep-dive into issues and jump over hurdles for successful and timely project completion.
  • Ability to think from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business
  • Ability to communicate in an efficient and concise fashion.
  • Excellent skills in identifying your audience and address them with the right level of complexity and refinement.
  • Proven track record of having strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high focus on your customers.
  • Experience of working with agile methodologies.
  • Experience of working with multi-cultural and geographically disparate teams.
  • Ability to think from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business.
