Job Description

* Domain Expertise

  1. Meetings with stakeholders/business users to understand their requirements and provide solutions
  2. Should have strong knowledge of Capital Market domain
  3. Should have in-depth understanding on KYC-CDD process in a third-party environment
  4. Should have managed processing and quality team members with clear segregation of duties amongst team.
  5. Should have worked on various regulatory like FACTA, MIFID I/II, BASEL I/II/III, CCAR, GDPR, etc.
  6. Implement new and changed relevant business requirement.
  7. To collaborate with other work-stream as well as the product development team to share knowledge, standardize and improvise the process
  8. To provide coaching and support to transfer technical & business knowledge.
  9. To understand the processes and work instructions required to get the task done and suggest new processes / work instructions, if required. To ensure that team is equally aware of the processes and ensure compliance to the same.
  10. Define and apply quality checks as per business requirement
  11. Maintain updates in line with SLAs and agreed timescales
  12. Ensure RCA (root cause analysis) is provided for issues related to per business requirement
  13. To create the documentation - technical and user, and get it reviewed.
  14. To revert in a timely manner on all spec clarifications / changes requested by the analysts, or to postpone the task assignment, in case the clarifications take time.
  15. Good to have knowledge of Instrument reference data.
Leadership Skill
  1. To schedule the tasks and resources to ensure that SLA s are met
  2. Idle time is reduced, for the tasks under control
  3. To manage work allocation within team, breaking up the task into manageable chunks, if required.
  4. To support the team by monitoring their activities and providing any help in case they are stuck on some issues.
  5. To take care of all kinds of reporting to management on productivity of the team and showcasing the efforts the team has put in on any tasks.
  6. Should put the team before him in every discussion and take best decision in betterment of the team and management parallelly.
  7. To update the project schedules for the delivery and provide the necessary reports to the Project Manager.
  8. To support and enlist support of other Module Leaders as the situation demands.
  9. To interact with client team, share ideas and giving product demos
  10. Identify training needs in the team.
  11. Creating positive work environment for the team thus controlling attrition.
Technical/Domain Skill Required
  • Good understanding of Global Financial Markets
  • Good understanding of Financial Crimes Compliance working culture
  • Good understanding of data manipulation and analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Excellent Advance Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Understanding of Databases (SQL etc.)
  • Detail conscious, Problem solver & Innovative thinker
  • Should be able to do estimation, scheduling, and monitoring
  • Should be strong in Interpersonal /Communication skill
  • Proven track record as an ideal people manager
