Job Description

We are looking to hire Linux Engineers to manage and administer the Linux computing systems hardware, software and storage infrastructure that allow our trading strategies to run 24/7. The aim is to support and manage the trading infrastructure for uniquely customized systems of Quadeye .

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide direct technical support of Linux and related technology in a production/live trading environment
  • Providing hands-on support for production issues related to colo/trading, office and data center environments
  • Support and Administer firewall environment
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting of linux based servers, which include supporting hardware changes, software installations, and upgrades
  • Tuning and optimizing servers for low latency

Ideal candidate should have:

  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or any other discipline
  • Exposure on installation, troubleshooting in Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) environment with experience in Firewall and Security
  • Strong Knowledge of Shell/Python scripting
  • Hands on experience in Monitoring Tools like Ansible/Zabbix
  • Experience on AWS services like EC2 and S3 will be a plus point
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high priority projects
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Good communication skills
