Job Description

*We are recruiting for a Manager in the Financial Services Audit team at KPMG Resource Centre Private Limited (KRCPL). Working as a Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and develop strong relationships with key onshore member firm stakeholders and act as a main point of contact for onshore departments involved
  • Continual action to increase penetration and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members
  • Motivate, develop and coach Managers, Assistant Managers and Team Leaders to deliver quality and to become effective leaders
  • Maintain rigor around risk & compliance guidelines of the firm, and workout plans to mitigate business risks
  • Attract and retain the right talent to support the business growth agenda
  • Enable a culture of high performance and establish KGS Audit as the clear choice for people
  • Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews. Work with L&D team to identify training needs
  • Driving and contributing to the Quality agenda for the entire FS team
  • Demonstrate expertise and augment the brand through thought leadership
  • Willingness and demonstrated experience to quickly and effectively climb learning curves
  • Experience in managing and leading teams
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence in a global context
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of strategic growth plans

., *Job RequirementsMandatory Skills
  • Qualifications: Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA or CPA).
  • Total Experience: The candidate must have 5-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm or other reputed audit firm working with corporate and/or international clients. Insurance or life insurance experience will be preferred.
  • Has to be a dedicated individual open to new learning and possibilities of working in an onshore location.
  • Skillset:
        • In depth knowledge of external audit.
        • Function as a manager on life insurance clients portfolio.
        • Understanding of international GAAP/US GAAP/IFRS and Insurance/Reinsurance sector will be an added advantage.
        • IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint
