Design of Elevated Viaduct/stations, railway over-bridges/ flyover and Civil/Structural works for Switching Station for pre-bid and detail engineering.Key Responsibilities:Pre-Bid Design:1. Study of tender documents and prepare technical query.2. Preparation of Bill of quantity for structure & civil works for tender estimates.Detail Engineering:Elevated Viaduct:Design engineering experience of at least 2 elevated viaduct projects1. Superstructure: Preparation of structure design/detailing related to Elevated viaduct covering elevated corridor2. Substructure: Preparation of structure design/detailing related to pier cap (including pedestal), piers3. Foundation System: Preparation of structure design/detailing related to foundations (open cast & pile type) accounting for risks (e.g., liquefaction)Rail Over-Bridges:Design engineering experience of at least 2 ROB projects1. Preparation of structure design/detailing related to railway bridges covering elevated corridor, pier cap, piers and foundations (open cast & pile type)2. Preparation/ review of design/detailing of railway under-bridge, underpasses and RCC Box.3. Railway Bridge design and detailing along with quantity calculation.4. RUB abutments, wing wall design and detail along with PSC slab detail checking.5. Develop design and details of RCC wall, cable trenches, retaining wall/ boundary wall, surface drainage.6. Operational design: Prepare design of station building/staff quarters etc. and RCC detailing of buildings.Common for both elevated viaduct, railway over-bridges:1. Able to develop understanding in accordance with construction methodology/construction sequence to be adopted during execution by respective authority.2. Able to develop deep understanding of Tender requirement on design aspect and material requirement/Specification as well3. Should have sound knowledge of railway loading issues: UIC code, Euro code, Any other code which covers railway loading4. Should have sound knowledge of IS, IRC, EURO, AASHTO, IRS, BS, ACI & RDSO Standard and have update on latest development of RDSO/IR/Metro and adhere to Standards5. Experience working with IR/Metros6. Reply the comments received from client.7. Preparation of foundation safety calculation.8. Review the detail structural and fabrication drawing prepared by the fabricator.9. Technical support to site at the time of project execution and commissioning.10. Prepare as built drawing after commissioning of the Project.11. Collection of the site data by site visit.Preferable to have:1. Civil/Structural experience for TSS/SWS: Prepare the design calculation of steel support structures/gantry and foundation for the Switching station equipment.2. Preferable to have Ballastless Track design experience; If not, to be groomed for ballastless track design post joiningInspection:1. Prepare the inspection test report after the inspection of the equipment/structure details at the factory.,
