Job Description

As a Manager, you would be expected to manage a team of Individual Contributors aligned with different Research Practices enabling them to deliver must have research and manage stakeholders. Responsible for support across multiple processes and projects across different domains. Provide immediate support and collaborate with stakeholders and teams to optimize project management, ensuring quality delivery of data within scheduled timelines by demonstrating great learning attitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Oversee end to end project management - Project Plan, Timeliness & Quality of Projects (addressing any roadblocks)
  • Stay ahead of market research trends by vetting new vendor partners and exploring/adopting new methodologies or technologies
  • Provide guidance based on market research best practices to analysts and other internal stakeholders
  • Manage third-party market research partners used for survey programming, sample selection and data collection & working with strict budgets
  • Link ROI/value to all market research initiatives, enabling investment in high impact projects that link directly into retention, new business etc.
  • Continuous evaluation and reflection whilst identifying opportunities for improvement to promote agility and continue to provide high quality service.
  • Oversee recruitment, building plans for training & onboarding new recruits
  • Motivate, coach, facilitate, solve work problems, address people-related issues, and be actively involved in the day-to-day activities of the team
  • Develop a First Team culture - work closely with peer managers to build trust, encourage teamwork and identify synergies to capitalize for highest impact.

Essential must-have skills

  • Bachelors/Post Graduation (MBA) in any specialization from leading Tier I & II B-schools
  • 10 - 12 years of experience in the Market Research industry; including end-to-end knowledge of how to effectively manage primary research qualitative and quantitative projects from a B2B or consumer perspective
  • Minimum 5 - 6 years of people management experience demonstrating good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing multiple senior stakeholders across geographies will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns while drawing and defending conclusions.
  • Good knowledge across disciplines within Market Research Industry, methodologies, major vendors, products or solutions
