Job Description

Network Engg 1Responsibilities

  • Day to Day Management of Network(Wifi/Routers/Switches) infrastructure, monitoring, scaling, perf tuning, capacity planning.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging of Network, Firewall and Wifi issues/outages, driving and implementation of RCAs, provide day to day support to developers/engineers/QA and managing Wifi and Internet connectivity worldwide.
  • Fundamental understanding of and hands-on experience with network technologies including meraki, aruba, ruckus WiFi, palo alto and meraki firewalls, content filters, routing/switching(SDN), Cloud based WiFi and Switching solutions, VLANs, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless.
  • Knowledge of fundamental networking protocols including TCP, STP, ARP, etc.
  • Experience supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, WLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, &/or DHCP servers.
  • Have knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP).
  • Learn, operate, and maintain IP network delivering IP data, voice and video , application deployed in house and in AWS network.
  • Full management and planning of IPV4 and IPV6 Subnets and Vlans(Millions of IPs and Assets)
  • Ability to clearly and concisely articulate matters to third parties.
  • Excellent document management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in MPLS/P2P and Internet Connectivity setup.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure and On-Call 24x7 rotation.
Key Skills
  • In-depth hands on experience in WiFi & Routing and Switching protocol.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing, Amazon Cloud and it s associated services (EC2, VPC, ELB, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, RDS etc.) is added advantages.
  • Understanding, administration and implementation of networking protocols/Monitoring/Alerting/Trending tools and process flow (Meraki Dashboard, Solarwinds, Sys log server, KIWI Backuptools etc)
  • Understanding and experience in Network administration (Switches config, Router Config, VOIP Protocols), Backup and recovery, Tuning for performance and scaling activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computers/Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Networking and IT Security, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 6 years Experience in networking domain.
  • Networking certifications a plus: CCNA, PCNSA, PCNSE, AWS Certification,CCNP etc.
  • AWS Cloud Platform (EC2,VPC,Route 53) knowledge and Certification is added advantages.
