Job Description

    Job Title: Oracle DBACategory: 5-8 years of experience in manage and monitor disk space, database space, CPU, memory and cache, user connections. Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Bangalore 0-30 days Automate database backups of various development and QA environments and manage tape backups. Install and configure databases on windows and Unix servers. Involve in design, development of PL/SQL procedures, functions, and database triggers. Perform memory, application, disk I/O tuning and eliminate database contention from table locks, latches and wait events. Perform database application tuning and implement user access control, permission, grants, new user setup, and software installation. Resolve development and QA database requests Provide DBA support for customer database environments. Uniform database setup improves workplace productivity. Develop database monitoring services on Linux platform using Perl and integrating this system. Configure, maintain, and monitor large complex Oracle database environment residing on multiple mainframes and distribute platforms.
