Job Description

Key expectations from the Role Should be presentable with excellent communication skills. A out and out customer facing person. Should confidently give demos/ presentations and conduct workshops with customers. Ideally should be an expert in Payments. However if not a payments expert, he/ she should have basic understanding of payments processing around ACH, Wires, International Payments, Cheques and should be an expert in a related banking domain. Should be able to lead by example a team of around 6-8 experienced pre sales managers and leads. Should be ready to travel frequently, mostly on short notices. Domain Expertise As a Payments expert, should have indepth knowledge on Domestic (ACH/ Wires) Payments, International Payments and Cheque based payments of various countries with focus on Western Europe, North America, Australia, India, South Africa and Middle East. Local/ Regional Clearing Settlement Systems like RTGS, Giro, Fedwire, NACHA, CHIPS, BACS, CHAPS, STEP2, Target2, LVTS/ EFT(Canada). Standing Instructions, Direct Debits, Bulk Payments and Payroll Broader payment schemes like SWIFT, SEPA.- Knowledge of payment formats - EDI X12, EDIFACT, SWIFT, SAP iDOC, ISO20022 XML, ISO 8583 etc. Knowledge on Cash and Cheque Collections, Cheque Clearing, Invoice Collections and Receivables is desirable. Give demos and presentations Conduct day and week long workshops for indepth product walk throughs. Create content for targeted Demos, Presentations and Workshops. Provide functional and domain related inputs for solutioning of RFP/ RFIs in payments area Liaise with Sales organization, Product teams, Technical teams and support functions like marketing and quality to build the complete proposal. Track opportunities till closure Own product collaterals (like Product Decks, Brochures/ Booklets, Capability Docspetition Analysis) and keep them updated on ongoing basis. Handle product positioning/ branding activities, product campaigns and events. Manage Analyst interactions. On need basis help the product teams in consulting assignments. Assist the product management team in market research and competition analysis.,
