Description:Looking for a Presales Consultant VMware Cloud with 8+ years of experienceLocation - GurgaonNotice - We need instant joiner only or candidate who can start in 45 daysPrincipal Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business.
• Attending meetings with business development team and acting as a technical expert
• Scoping out different projects and support opportunities
• Should be able to do extensive research in any technical area where we need to to provide appropriate solution to the client and quickly provide options internally
• Putting together business cases for the sales teams to support their proposals.
• Working closely and collaborate with customers to devise effective solutions.
• Ensuring that the company s product can deliver on the customer s expectations.
• Working closely with customers to understand and capture their requirements.
• Replying to customers following requests for information and proposal requests.
• Documenting statement of work post full understanding of the case.
• Documenting & creating power point presentations for relevant solutions.
• Should be able to envision the client requirements & conceptualize a solution quickly.
• Presenting proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team & partners.
• Producing detailed costing for customers and ensuring the contract is profitable.
• Working with the internal management team to understand the skill set availability & resource requirements of specific projects.
• Presenting the weekly/monthly project reports to the internal management
• Providing effort estimates & monthly effort consumption reports to the finance team for billing purpose
• Coordinating with the internal delivery team / extended Partner eco system throughout the project/opportunity life cycle.
• Documenting process/workflows related to the support/project opportunity.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Should be a graduate or above, preferable MCA, B. Tech, MBA or equivalent qualification
• Should have at least have 8 years of working experience & 6 or more years of relevant technical presales experience in Infrastructure & Cloud solutions
• Willing to work primarily during US business hours with prior experience with US or UK based customers & markets.

Certifications:

• Candidates with either valid certifications in VMware is a must (VCP-DV, VCP-NV, VCAP, VCIX)
• Candidates with certification in VMware Cloud n AWS will be preferred
• Candidates with any certifications in AWS or Azure will be preferred
• Candidates with PMP will be preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Must be a subject matter expert with extensive experience in IT Infrastructure & Cloud services
• Should have ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
• Excellent understanding about IT Infrastructure services & its components like (Workstations, Servers, Network devices, VM, Compute, Storage, network, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc.)
• Excellent understanding on Server operating systems.
• High level of VMware expertise (pre-sales & implementation)
• Deep understanding of the Data Center technologies such as: Compute, Storage, Networking, Virtualization.
• A strong background in solutions design using VMware SDDC products (vSphere, vSAN, NSX) is desired
• VCP-DV, VCP-NV, VCAP, VCIX, or equivalent required.
• vRealize architecture, design and implementation experience
• Working knowledge of core AWS technologies such as EC2 and S3, and networking technologies is a plus
• Background in Product Management, Technical Marketing, Solution Architecture
• Experience with AWS, Azure and other Public Cloud providers is a plus.
• Prior experience in VMware cloud on AWS will be a plus
• Should have created proposals for infrastructure & cloud deployments/migrations in the past.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Work, Visio & PowerPoint are must)
