Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Domain Expert- Medical Underwriter/ SummarizeDomain:InsuranceResponsibilities:

  • New Hire Training
  • Readiness of new hire class logistics, documentation
  • Timely & effective pre- process & process trainings
  • Feedback & coaching
  • Knowledge Management
  • Ensure100% adherence to SOPs/Update trackers, update dissemination, error root cause analysis, training needs identification, planning and conducting refreshers, knowledge assessments
  • Adherence to Genpact training common minimum practices
  • Daily touch points with process trainers, SME to effectively drive knowledge management and people development practices
  • Managed trainings single handedly
  • Drive Process improvements
  • Maintain key records like working files, email for reference and audit purpose
  • Comprehending and responding to customer inquiries. Identify, research, and resolve problems.
  • Ensure that turnaround time and quality of the work meets Company service standards
  • Interact with Onshore /Offshore and customer in a respectful and professional manner via email and on calls
  • Manage own work in process and support team efforts to ensure that individual, team goals are met.
  • Maintain key records like working files, email for reference and audit purpose
  • Should be able to handle basic day to day requirements of excel
Qualifications:Graduate in medical stream- BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BPT, BDS, B Pharma, M PharmaEssential skills:
  • 4-5 years of work experience preferred in Medical Summarization/ Underwriting in Life or Health Insurance
  • Experience in Group Disability Insurance Underwriting /Employee benefit/ Workers Compensation/ Individual disability Insurance or/and Insurance qualification/certifications will be an added advantage
  • Preferred-prior Transitions/ knowledge transfer experience/engagement to enable smooth knowledge capture/ transfer
  • In depth knowledge of the process at least 1 year in similar process
  • Strong Communication skills (Both written & verbal)
  • Proactive communication & High analytical skills should be able to foresee issues and suggest solutions, with impactful data
  • Displays energy and enthusiasm in approaching the job
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ready to work on stretched working hours
  • Ability to independently interact with internal and external customers
  • Excellent people management and customer management skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Should be able to lead meetings/ discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Passionate, committed to learn and make learning impact felt in the business
  • Basic Computer knowledge along with typing speed of 40 words/minute
