1. BASIC FUNCTION (WHY POSITION EXISTS)The Program Manager is the primary and responsible person charged with coordinating the efforts of the customer, account management, product engineering, manufacturing/operations, quality, finance, procurement, and suppliers through the formation and leadership of Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to ensure successful and timely program launches, transfers, and engineering changes.The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is maximized and key operational metrics are optimized including: Quality, Delivery and Cost.Under general direction, responsible for the profitable execution of assigned Systems Major Projects.Works with GKAM (Global Key Account Manager) and RD&E Directors and teams as needed to provide sales support activities early in development processes to provide input on strategy, scope enhancements, value engineering, risk assessment etc. as needed.Ensures that assigned projects are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract.Responsible for following consistent and repeatable project management procedures and processes.Maintains an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results. 2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (MAJOR END RESULTS FOR WHICH POSITION IS ANSWERABLE) Acts as the primary on-site leader for execution teams on assigned projects.Develops project schedules and executes according to plan for assigned projects.Evaluates the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes.Actively pursues additional work through change orders.Cooperate with GKAM (Global Key Account Manager) and cost estimation team to evaluate associated cost estimates and proposals preparation.Analyzes financial reporting systems and project schedules to proactively aSalary 15 Lac To 18 Lac P.A.
