The Index & Quant team is looking for a Senior Quant Developer (Python) to support clients- equity derivatives structuring teams focused on developing, pricing, and marketing trading strategies.Key Responsibilities- Develop technical solutions to help ensure efficient automation of back-testing tools, pricers, and web GUI- Program new back tests for strategy development purposes- Liaise with stakeholders in quants, trading, technology, and control functions to understand requirements - Design, develop, and implement technical solutions capturing business requirements- Work with database teams to implement logical and meaningful rules for data checks, controls, and alerts to achieve the highest level of accuracy and meet timelines- Lead a team of two or more python developers Skill Set Required:- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills- Able to solve complex mathematical and statistical problems with exposure to time series analysis- General understanding of various asset classes- Exposure to derivative pricing and equity options will be an advantage- Efficiency in compiling and / or scripting languages, such as C / C++, Python, and Java- Confident in interacting with international clients - Able to identify and solve issues on time and an eye for detail- Collaborative attitude to work in a team environmentEducation and Experience:- B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA / CFA / FRM / Masters or Bachelors in Applied Mathematics / Physics / Engineering Science- Exposure to the financial services industry, preferably in quantitative strategies- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience- Extensive work experience in developing various programming languages; high proficiency in Python is a must- Strong working experience in web development and KDB and SQL databasesEvalueserve is committed to providing equal opportunities globally, eliminating discrimination and promoting good relations among employees, regardless of age, disability, race, ethnicity or origin, religion or belief, sex, gender assignment, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status.
