Job Description

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with a quantitative focus in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of analytical work experience in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Experience managing and querying data using SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools (R, Python) and techniques (machine learning, experimental analysis, predictive modeling etc.).
  • Proven track record of applying data driven insights to have a tangible impact on business performance.
  • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring actionable insights through effective communication.
  • Strong task management skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities and manage tight deadlines, in a high-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the gPS or GCC organization to develop a deep understanding of the business, from its data and metrics, to its strategic challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide thought leadership to your key business stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights using appropriate analytical solutions.
  • Support business performance deep dives to identify and size opportunities for growth and efficiency, contributing to the strategic direction of the business.
  • Conduct repeatable and ad-hoc analyses to measure and interpret business trends and inform business partner decisions.
