Job Description

    This is a position for for an SAP Support Technician with strong analytical skills and expertise in SAP S/4 and BW/4 to become a member of the SAP COE(Centre of Excellence) support organization.Working with the Subject Matter Experts and Business Analysts to grasp the best knowledge of existing/ new SLF investment product architecture and implement new features in the scope of the project and other project deliverables.Design, Development, Testing and Support of SAP Integration and Maintenance jobs.The person will be exposed to a variety of assignments, responding to new business service requests/assignments, problem solving, maintaining stability and performing technical implementations.Partner with SMEs, Developers and other stakeholders.Within the operations support component of the role, you will be responsible for system monitoring, primary requests intake, defects triage, escalation, and end users assistance.Shift Timings : 12:30 PM IST to 8:30 PM IST with On call support.Preferred skills (heading) / Comptences particulires (titre)Design and DevelopmentMonitoring and analysis of SAP Integration and Maintenance jobs via Control-M;Review and analysis of SAP inbound data processing issues using SAP AIF;Analysis of SAP Application Logs pertaining to the interfaces and maintenance;Initial triage of the defects reported by users;Provide assistance and guidance to the end users;Prompt escalation of the application incidents to the next line of support if unable to resolve by themselves;Immediate escalation of the infrastructure incidents to the companys Cloud Provider;Collaboration with the next-level support teams in order to have the incidents resolved in a timely manner;Ensuring that the end-users are fully aware of their incidents statuses and resolution ETAs.Technical SkillsExperience working on an SAP S/4 or BW/4 implementation project as an integration support consultant;Experience working with BMC Control-M scheduling software (or its analogue);Experience working with server/infrastructure monitoring tools (SAP Solution Manager experience would be a great asset);Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methodologyQualifications (heading) / Comptences (titre)A degree in Computer Science, related technology degree, or equivalent experience.Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilits (titre)Monitoring and analysis of SAP Integration and Maintenance jobs via Control-M;Review and analysis of SAP inbound data processing issues using SAP AIF;Analysis of SAP Application Logs pertaining to the interfaces and maintenance;Initial triage of the defects reported by users;Provide assistance and guidance to the end users;Prompt escalation of the application incidents to the next line of support if unable to resolve by themselves;Immediate escalation of the infrastructure incidents to the companys Cloud Provider;Collaboration with the next-level support teams in order to have the incidents resolved in a timely manner;Ensuring that the end-users are fully aware of their incidents statuses and resolution ETAs.Strong ability to work independently with a bias toward action and resultsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations/problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely mannerExcellent organizing, planning and time management skills with the ability to multi-taskAbility to learn quickly and ramp up on new technologies, systems and business conceptsOutstanding customer service attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skills,
