Education : B.Tech / BE/ MCA & Post GraduateSalesforce Lead is a skilled technical resource who has a history of working within the Salesforce end user, ISV or Partner ecosystem and understands the unique challenges of Salesforce application lifecycle management. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the Salesforce Platform with broad experience including Salesforce APIs, Metadata, Continuous Integration,and Version Control/Deployments. A broad understanding of the main Salesforce applications, their configuration and how they can be extended with code is desirable. Proven experience participating in the Trailblazer Community and local user groups is essential. The candidate should be a self-starter, able to research solutions and make informed decisions based on their technical experience. The candidate will be responsible for liaising with Companys DevOps Partners in the Salesforce ecosystem such as AutoRabit, Blue Canvas, Copado, Flosum and Gearset plus responsible for regular communications with Salesforce Product Managers, Customer Success, Architects and the MVP Community.The role will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer based in the UK. The role is based out of Gurgaon office in India with flexibility around home working after the first three months of employment. Must be willing and able to travel globally when called upon to attend Dreamforce, TrailheaDX, World Tour and community events. Existing US Tourist/Business Visa advantageous. Responsibilities : The Salesforce Lead is responsible for the following: - Providing Salesforce product knowledge and expertise to the internal team. - Ongoing development and enhancement of Provars AppExchange Apps. - Development and deployment of example VF pages, apex code, lightning web components and aura components to support application development and regression testing purposes. - Utilising SalesforceDX to create test packages and manage our range of development, regression and trial environments. - Working with our existing team to optimise our applications and participate in the development of new products. - Managing changes to companys own Salesforce CRM, and running the its CoE. - Reviewing Salesforce tri-annual release notes, identifying risk areas and implementing changes. - Keeping up to date with the latest Salesforce releases and educating the Provar team in their use and potential impact on company and Salesforce customers. - Liaising with Salesforce Support and Product Managers to resolve issues and build key relationships. - Liaising with Salesforce ISVs and MVPs. - Networking with fellow Salesforce professionals in India and globally through online communities, local user groups, webinars and conferences. - Identifying new technologies and solutions to help customers implement their Salesforce DevOps strategy. - Writing technical blogs and presenting at Salesforce events and Trailblazer community events.Skills required : You should also have evidence of the following: Essential: - Experience of using the Salesforce Metadata API, Tooling API. - Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certification. - Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) Certification. - Knowledge and experience of both declarative (Process Builder, Flow) and custom (Apex, Visualforce, Aura) development is essential. - Salesforce CTA System Architect (or progress towards). - Public speaking experience at a Salesforce or community event. - Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical skills with ability to learn quickly. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Working together as a team. Preferable: - Previous experience of Provar, other test automation tools, or custom frameworks. - Current Salesforce MVP highly desirable. - A basic knowledge of Selenium Webdrivers and headless Chrome. - Experience of SalesforceDX and 2nd Generation Packaging. - Experience of one of more Salesforce Deployment & Release Management ISVs such as AutoRabit, Copado, Flosum or Gearset. - Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II. - Certified Salesforce CPQ. - Certified Field Service Lightning. - Experience of developing Aura Components. - Experience of a broad range of Salesforce ISV enterprise applications such as nCino, Vlocity, Apttus, CloudSense.
