The Security Operations Analyst at Expedia Group is a role that showcases your security expertise and allows you to support the adoption of premier security practices and policies.This role focuses on protecting the EG Brand and is an integral part of the global security team that is responsible for securing Expedias travel platform!What youll do:Your responsibilities include supporting remediation of systemic security issues based on analysis of vulnerability data.You will support a team of Security Engineers and Analysts who provide meaningful insights about Expedias attack surface.You will support vulnerability management operations through direct engagement with Expedia application and infrastructure teams to ensure timely remediation.You will engage with teams to apply vulnerability management principles to organizational requirements.Who you are:You are engaged, proactive and focus on meaningful engagement with Expedia application and infrastructure teams to ensure they have the information they need to remediate vulnerablities within SLAs.You can convey technical information in an understandable way that generates results.You are a troubleshooter who proactively removes roadblocks and pursues solutions to problems that stand in the way of vulnerability reductionPossess effective project and program management skills (task identification, prioritization, and documentation)Are a self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt with the pace of work environmentFamiliarity and willingness to learn data collection and analysis using SQL, Python or other tools.Able to simplify security and technical concepts for application developers, business and technology teamsDetail-oriented and proficient in written and oral communicationsKnowledge of components of vulnerability management, risk and compliance preferredA minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience, 3+ is preferred; however, all equivalent experience will be consideredBachelors degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a related technical field; or equivalent professional work experienceFamiliarity and Experience with: PrismaCloud/Twistlock, SQL, Python, Agile, JIRA, OWASP, NIST, NICE, GitHub, DAST/SAST, Vulnerability Scanning, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Container, Kubernetes, Docker, FargateCISSP, CSNA, CSSLP or other security recognition desirable,
