Job Description

About the opportunityDepartment OverviewDistribution Overview -The key functions of this group include:

  • Support for on-boarding of application infrastructure components introduced by projects or programs.
  • Status accounting of distribution application environments.
  • Test Data Masking Services (IBM Optim)
  • Allocations of environments (non-productions ones) to releases. Resolve conflicts (if any).
  • Implement environment alerts (database, middleware and application levels).
  • Daily environment health-checks across all products and publish environment availability reports.
  • Liaising with infrastructure and platform teams on infrastructure patching cycle and support the same.
  • Identification of environment gaps and publishes reports to stakeholders on the same.
  • Liaising with 3rd-party vendors for technical discussions on requirements at infrastructure level.
  • Software configuration management services to distribution business area applications.
  • Build and Release Automation of application based on Salesforce, Java / J2EE / Databases technology.
  • Support of tools like SVN, GT, Teamcity, Bamboo and uDeploy and uRelease.
  • Setup and support Continuous integration of builds and deployments.
  • Supporting non-prod controlled environment builds rollouts.
  • Maintaining environment handover SLA to testing teams.
  • Continuous improvements to build and release processes to bring environment SLA in acceptable time frame.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will play a proactive role in this function as a Senior Analyst Programmer for ISS - Distribuion Business area and ensures timely delivery of the services to the product teams in Agile product development environment.Experience and QualificationsNecessary Skills are:
  • At least 3-4 years overall experience within IT with expertise in Environment Management services, Software Configuration Management
  • Good hands-on knowledge on Version control Systems - Subversion, GIT, Bitbucket, Github
  • DevOps experience of minimum 4 years.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like uDeploy, Jenkins, Bamboo, uRelease.
  • Should have good hands on experience in scripiting - Shell, Bash, Powershell, Perl & Python
  • Experience in Containerisation tools like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Should have experience on AWS and have basic understanding of EC2, VPC, S3, ECS, ECR, CloudFormation template to automated the cloud Infra
  • Good understanding of Agile product development and respective delivery.
  • Good knowledge on basic infrastructure components.
  • Build & Release Automation.
  • Excellent planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Must have supported on-boarding of complex system integrations and environments.
  • ITIL certified.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Calm approach when under pressure
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Knowledge of the mutual funds industry
Preferable Skills are:
  • Knowledge of Iseries platform and respective support.
  • Must have supported complex financial system integrations and environments.
  • Experience in financial domain.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • ITIL v3 certified.
